FYLAR thrive where energy is more important than genre boundaries. In their instrumental compositions, the four musicians combine intricate rhythms with a flair for atmosphere, telling stories that are meant to be experienced rather than explained. Between pressure and restraint, music is created that leaves room for friction, for doubt, for moments when a song says more than a clear point of view. FYLAR don't sound like answers, but like good questions.

Founded in Warendorf in 2016, FYLAR has consolidated into a core quartet consisting of Stefan (keys), Jonas (guitar), Arne (bass), and Christian (drums) after several lineup changes. The band looks back on live gigs as support for Embryo and Aphodyl and released their debut EP “EXODUS” in 2025.
